Hello future doctors! Let's talk about why some molecules behave like magnets. Imagine a tug-of-war between two atoms over shared electrons. If one atom is stronger (more electronegative), it pulls the electrons closer, becoming slightly negative (δ-), while the other becomes slightly positive (δ+). This separation of charges is called the Dipole Moment!
